Enter details for a wireless network connection

1. Click the edit icon next to the connection to be edited
2. Edit the name of the connection, if required
3. Select TCP/IP tab
4. Select Manual from the Configure IPv4 drop-down list
5. Enter the IP Address
6. Enter the Subnet Mask
7. Enter Router
8. Enter DNS Server
9. Select Wireless Security tab
10. Select a value from the Security drop-down list
11. Enter a Password
12. Click Apply

Whether you use the automatic details or have manually entered the details you should check that the computer can access the internet. Even though the network connection may appear to be working, the connection to the Internet should always be checked.
