Visit Connect enables you to start connecting with potential sales leads (A lead is a person who represents a sales opportunity for your company) during an event. You'll need to purchase one scan licence for each of your stand personnel (Stand personnel means: the people who represent your company inside your stand or booth at the event). Depending on the set up for the event, leads can be collected in one of two methods:
- the Visit Connect app installed on a smart device, which offers real-time data lead capture. You'll need to activate a scan licence to access all app features, and licences are not transferable. For shared or rented devices it is important to make sure the leads data is synchronised with your Visit Connect account before returning the device.
- a barcode scanner (A barcode scanner is a hand-held device used to scan visitor badges, among other things), which only offers offline lead data capture. Lead data on your scanner must be synchronised with your Visit Connect account.
Your Visit Connect account on the web portal (The Visit Connect web portal is where you manage your accounts, licences and leads) (https://visitconnect.n200.com) is used before an event to set up your custom questions and targets. During and after the event you can access the leads and monitor the lead collection in the web portal.
In this section, you'll learn how to:
-
create your account for the Visit Connect web portal;
NOTE: If you've already used Visit Connect and/or Visit Partner at a previous event, then you should already have an account and can skip this task. In this case, you can go directly to Add a new event.
-
view and manage your scan licences;
- optionally, create additional user accounts for colleagues or team mates.
