In order to keep the lead (A lead is a person who represents a sales opportunity for your company) data for future use and view it in the Visit Connect web portal (The Visit Connect web portal is where you manage your accounts, licences and leads), the Visit Connect app needs to be synchronised.
When using the Visit Connect app online, it is designed to automatically synchronise with the portal. However you may be using the app in an event where there is an unreliable internet connection. Therefore, we recommend you manually synchronise your lead data, daily if possible, to ensure all leads data is retained. This advice is especially important if you are using rented or share devices.
Visit Connect app: Perform a manual sync
- Connect your device to the internet (be online) and open the Visit Connect app.
- Go to the Leads page and swipe downwards to start synchronising your leads.
- Wait until you see the message "All leads are synchronised", then close the app.
- Log in to your Visit Connect account in the web portal (https://visitconnect.n200.com) and verify that all the lead are visible and have been synchronised.
You can synchronise your leads as often as you want, and we recommend that you ensure leads are synchronised daily.
NOTE: If your stand personnel (Stand personnel means: the people who represent your company inside your stand or booth at the event) is also using the barcode scanner (A barcode scanner is a hand-held device used to scan visitor badges, among other things) to collect leads, then follow the instructions for Retrieving your lead data from barcode scanners as well.
