Yes. Virtually all of the app's functions work when there is no internet connection. This means you can scan badges, answer questions and add notes even when you are offline.
NOTE: When you scan a badge with the Visit Connect app while offline, don't worry if the lead (A lead is a person who represents a sales opportunity for your company) details appear as incomplete. The app will synchronise the missing information as soon as you reconnect to the internet.
However, some things do require an active internet connection:
- activating your scan app licence;
- synchronising collected leads from the app to the web portal (The Visit Connect web portal is where you manage your accounts, licences and leads);
- synchronising custom questions from the web portal to the app.
We recommend that you install and set up the app before you travel to the event, so that you can activate your licence(s) and synchronise any custom questions from the portal while you still have a reliable internet connection.
