Add a shop item restriction

Before you start, read Building your shop. This will help you choose the best order in which to create the different parts of your shop.

Adding restrictions to shop items is optional. You can do this if you want to:

• allow registrants to buy certain other items only when they buy the current item ( column);
• prevent registrants from buying certain other items if they buy the current item ( column).

1. On the Dashboard, select Event > Shop.
2. Select the Shop items tab.
3. Double-click on the shop item to which you want to add restrictions. (See Create a shop item to learn how to create shop items.)

4. Select the Shop item restrictions tab.

   

5. Use the Add items to shop buttons to add restrictions:
   • In the column, add items that can only be bought in combination with the current shop item.
   • In the column, add items that cannot be bought in combination with the current shop item.
6. Click Save.

If adding restrictions is the last step in your shop building process, you can now continue with Add a shop page to your registration form.
