Create a ticket product

Before you start, read Building your shop. This will help you choose the best order in which to create the different parts of your shop.

If you're setting up a ticketing event (see Ticketing), you need to link at least one shop product to a voucher (see Vouchers). Most of the steps are the same as in Create a shop product, with a few differences.

1. On the Dashboard, select Event > Shop.

2. Select the Products tab.

3. Click Add new product. The Product details page appears:

   

4. Enter a Product name.
5. In Total available, enter an amount, or select unlimited.
6. In Voucher, select the voucher that serves as your event admission ticket (see Vouchers).

7. Enter the VAT rate and Price excl. VAT or Price incl. VAT, as applicable.

   You can override the final product price in the shop item details. See Create a shop item.

8. Enter a Title and Description for each translation. Registrants cannot see these – they only see the titles and descriptions of shop items.
9. Select This product grants access to the event. The Add time-window button appears.
10. If you want to restrict when the ticket is valid:

    1. Click Add time-window. This dialog opens:

       

    2. In Valid from and Valid to, enter a date and time.
    3. Click Save to create the time-window.
    4. Repeat these steps if you want to create more time-windows.
11. Click Save.

To make the ticket product appear in your shop, add it to a shop item (see Create a shop item).
