When a Visitor to an event no longer agrees to your use (processing) of their personal data, you can flag this in the Visit Service Centre.
You can apply this option at the event level, by finding the person's registration details and check the box named Stop processing. This change not only indicates in the person's decision in his or her registration details but also results in changes in the system such as no longer being sent any emails generated by Visit.
If the person registered for more than one event, you'll have to change this option in each event separately.
Do this first:
You will also need to know for which events the person has visited. You will also need to know which event(s) the person has visited by querying the system. For more information, see Queries for Visitors in the system.
Keep in mind, you won't be able to change this setting for a person who previously requested for their record to be anonymised. See Anonymise a Visitor
Steps:
- As an Admin user in , select an event in which the person is registered. This can be a current or past event.
- In the Service Centre, select the Visitors tab.

Double-click the person who requested you to stop processing their data to open the person's registration details.

Check the Stop processing box for the current event.
- Optionally when the person is registered in other events, open the registration details and check the box Stop processing for all other events.
