Add Privacy Policy question at Organisation level

If you wish to ensure a registrant has seen your privacy policy, you can use the new System question, named the Privacy Policy. This question allows you to include a link to your privacy policy. When the registrant selects the checkbox, we will also store the date and time the person viewed the your privacy policy. A question set up at the Organisation level, such as Privacy Policy, is then available for all events run by your organisation.

As questions are not subject to version control we do not recommend the use of the Privacy Policy question to store the policy itself. Instead, we recommend you use the question to provide a link to your privacy policy.

Remember to make the page with this question Required when editing or adding the page to a registration form.

Context

1. In the Organisation tab, select Question designer.

2. Start typing" Privacy Policy" in the search field.

3. Select the Privacy Policy, by double clicking on that Question.

4. We recommend you leave the Question area blank.

5. In the Checkbox section, in the Answer List, click once to select Privacy Policy.

6. Choose a Translation and add an answer that includes the link to your privacy policy.

7. Repeat for all Translations desired, and select Apply to save your changes.

After setting up a Privacy Policy question, you should start adding this question in a page as part of your Registration form.Edit Welcome Page
