Update EventBox

Whenever an update for the EventBox software is available, you will see a icon in the system tray:

We always recommend installing any available updates, as they may include vital fixes and improvements that will ensure the smooth running of your event.

EventBox will be inaccessible while the update takes place – this may take up to 10 minutes. Make sure you choose a convenient time to update.

1. In the system tray, click .
2. If prompted, enter the EventBox password that was set earlier. (See Enter general EventBox settings.)

3. When asked if you want to update EventBox, click Yes.

   

You will see a message telling you that the update is in progress:

After a few minutes, the update will finish and you can once again use EventBox.
