Locations

After you have entered EventBox settings (see Enter general EventBox settings), you should create locations:

Location types

There are two types of locations:

• Gate – A place where people enter or exit the event. This type is most often used for EventBoxes configured in Access Control mode.
• Area – A room, hall, or other space at the event. This type is most often linked to seminars (see Create a seminar item).

Locations in EventBox

You can assign locations to individual EventBoxes at the event. While setting up each EventBox, you can select a location in the Terminal settings dialog:

You can only select a location of the Gate type, unless you select the mode Access Control > Seminar.
