NOTE: Only an Admin user can complete this task. See Account permissions explained for information about account types.
If a user has forgotten their account password, they can click Forgot password? on the login page to request an email with a reset link.
But if the user no longer has access to the email address associated with the account, they will need help from an Admin user. Use the steps below to help the user regain access to their account.
- Click .
- Find the user's account in the list and double-click on it. The user's account details appear.
- Check the Email field to ensure that it shows an email address which is known and accessible to the user. Change it if necessary.
- Click Save to return to the page.
- Click Send Reset Password.
The user now receives an email with a link they can click to reset their password.
